It took me a few tries to beat him since he slaughter me. I say he is harder than the first to Riku battles in Sora's story. Or maybe I just suck.

Too bad Riku can't be defeated once he takes too much damage; Riku seems unique in the sense that he can actually damage nearby enemies besides Sora (eg. his dark waves can hit Axel and Roxas if they get in the way).
